What We Expect From Cine Gear Expo LA Next Week
A preview of Cine Gear LA and what we might expect to learn from brands and the filmmaking community set to meet at the Universal Studios Lot next week.

Cine Gear LA 2025
Set to open on Friday, June 6th at 11:00 am local time and run through Saturday, June 7th, at the Universal Studios Lot in Universal City, California, the Cine Gear Expo LA looks to be another fun and informative exposition of the latest and greatest in the film industry.
Similar to NAB and other trade shows, Cine Gear is popular among those in the Los Angeles film industry, offering a great opportunity for networking and learning more about what top brands and studios have to offer for upcoming projects and productions.
Here’s everything you need to know about Cine Gear Expo LA and what we expect to see showcased this year.
Cine Gear Expo LA
Billed as a place where creatives, technicians, and business professionals can all come together to share ideas, forge new relationships, and create lasting collaborations, Cine Gear is becoming one of the best—and most popular—expos and trade show events on the film and video production circuit.
Whether you are an aspiring filmmaker, an established industry veteran, or a technology enthusiast, Cine Gear is an event that celebrates the passion and dedication of the cinematic community. For those reasons alone, it’s worth checking out.
However, on top of the fun, informative, and networking opportunities, it’s also a great space to check out the latest and greatest gear from top brands as well.
What We Expect From Cine Gear LA 2025
As is the case in years past, Cine Gear LA 2025 is set to host the majority of the top camera and gear brands in the business. Cine Gear lists that companies set to attend will include: RRI, Aputure, Astera, Blackmagic Design, Cartoni, Creative Solutions, Fujifilm, RED, Leitz Cine, Nanlux, Matthews, Sony, Tiffen, Zeiss, and many more.
There will also be some top names in directing and cinematography, as well as other thought leaders and creative talent showcasing what they love about some of the latest cameras and gear. We’re hoping that brands that have recently introduced new cameras and products will have some on hand to demo, like the new Sony FX2, the new Fujifilm X half, or the new DZOFilm Arles Lustre Primes.
If you didn’t get a chance to attend NAB or any other trade shows recently, you might be able to check out plenty of new cameras and products that have been unveiled and previewed already, but perhaps haven't made it to your local camera stores yet.
